The Firenze Red Lions are proud to announce the signing of Italian defensive lineman Quelly Sousa for the upcoming season.

Born on October 20, 1989, Sousa joins the organization bringing experience, leadership and toughness to the defensive line unit. After previous experiences with the Firenze Guelfi and Cecina Trappers, the Italian player arrives in Florence ready to add intensity and depth to the Red Lions defense.

Standing at 1.90 meters tall and weighing 90 kilograms, Sousa is known for his physical approach, work ethic and determination on the field. His experience in Italian American football will be an important asset for the team as the club continues building a competitive roster for the season ahead.

As a Homegrown player, Sousa represents the importance of developing and strengthening local talent within Italian football. His arrival reflects the Firenze Red Lions’ commitment to combining experienced players with ambitious athletes capable of making an impact both on and off the field.
