The Firenze Red Lions are proud to announce the signing of Michele Costa, an Italian wide receiver who will officially join the franchise after completing his current season with the Lazio Marines.

Born in 2002, Costa is considered one of the most promising young talents in Italian football at the wide receiver position. Standing at 180 cm and weighing 82 kg, he combines speed, explosiveness, and strong game awareness—qualities that have allowed him to stand out and continue developing at a high level.

Throughout his career, he has played for both the Legionari Roma and later the Lazio Marines, building valuable experience and a competitive mindset that now leads him to take on a new challenge with the Red Lions.

His arrival represents an important investment in the future of the franchise and a key reinforcement for the offensive unit ahead of the 2026 AFLE season. His ability to create separation, reliability in route running, and strong development potential fit perfectly within the coaching staff’s technical vision.

Michele will complete the current season with the Lazio Marines before officially joining the Firenze Red Lions program, ready to begin this new chapter of his career.
