The Firenze Red Lions are proud to announce the signing of Albert Bottey, an Italian defensive lineman who will join the franchise ahead of the 2026 AFLE season.

Born in 2000, Bottey brings physicality, intensity, and experience to the roster. Standing at 185 cm and 112 kg, he represents an important addition to the Red Lions’ defensive line, adding presence and aggression to one of the team’s key units.

Throughout his career, he has gained experience across several Italian American football programs, playing for Mastini Verona, Rhinos Milano, Giaguari Torino, and Warriors Bologna. A path that allowed him to develop technical solidity, discipline, and a strong competitive mindset.

His arrival further strengthens the franchise’s defensive unit, contributing to the construction of a tougher and more competitive team ahead of the 2026 AFLE season.
